Halloween Memories..... and Grandpa!

First of all Grandpa: Grandpa is doing so much better! I went down on Friday to visit with grandpa and grammie and ended up staying the night with gram. Grandpa looks so much better than he did a couple of weeks ago when we went to visit at his house. He has very good color now and acts just like our dear loved old grandpa! :) The next morning when Grammie and I went in he was doing very well again. The doc came in not long after and told us that Grandpas kidney function was starting to improve and that they were going to wait the weekend and then on monday do his Angiogram. Hopefully Tuesday he will be able to get the surgery and be on his way to a healthier heart and lots more years of life.:)

Halloween Memories:

I dont have a very good memory at all, so bear with me...

* I remember when I was young I was kind of a tomboy so for like 3 halloweens I was an evil vampriss..... i still have that costume by the way. ( I think...... mom do we still have that costume? )

* We lived clear out in the boonies in a tiny rancher community called Lonetree, so Trick-r-treating was not just simply walking door to door and collecting as much candy as possible. We had to drive miles and miles from one house to the other.... it was lots of fun!! After we trick-r-treated in Lonetree we would head into the Valley and go to the rest of our familys houses and a couple of the ward members houses.

* I always wanted to be a Jeanie, but i never did..... the only way that I knew to be a jeanie was a 2 piece costume and I wasnt allowed to wear those. PLUS I was a chunky little girl, so even if i could I wouldn't have:)

I remember you being the cutest little witch when you were younger. I'm glad you could go spend some time with Grandpa and Grammie. I haven't been able to make it to the hospital this time yet. Thanks for the update!!

Yes, thanks for the update, and you were a very cute witch!! I loved the memories, and am so glad that Grandpa is doing better, and that you could spend the night with Grammie. I'm sure she loved that.

I love the new look of your blog! It is adorable. Don't you just love reminiscing about when you were young?

Yeah trick or treating in the Valley just isn't the same as other places. I remember always hoping people would come to our house to get candy and no one ever would.
