Daddy Daughters Date!

On the 22nd of July Dad, Ash, and I all decided to leave and take the canoe out for the day. We were so excited.... this was the first daddy daughter date we have had in a long long time!:) The day was so much fun! Most of the time all of us were in the canoe.... including the dogs..Koda, My puppy doggy had a hard time sitting still and darn near dumped us all into the lake numerous times!:) Ashley had her eating the flowers off the lilly pads... so everytime we passed one of these Koda would lunge for them! Fritz the little brown dog, was really laid back and mellow. at times we would hear a little wimper and his ears would perk a little... this was probably out of fear of Koda being so careless! :) haha!

Ashley and I headed into shore...I am waiting for my puppy to catch up :)

Daddy and the puppies
At one point we when we were in the middle of the lake we threw both of the dogs out and made them swim. Dad was still sitting right here and needless to say, got soaked! Unfortunatly he was not the only one... we all got our fair share!:)

The puppies loving the water!:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN!

It is 4:30 in the morning right now, but officially Brian's 25th Birthday! I have a BBQ/ Potluck planned for tonight at 6 and Cake and Ice Cream to follow. :) Hopefully we get a pretty good turn out on people :) I sure am no good a hosting anything... I hate that responsibility and am so darn anal about my house being clean enough for everyone. HaHa, enough with my babbling. Point of this silly little entry is to let you all know that I now have a camera and there will be plenty of pics and I am sure quite the story to come along with them. Ya'll gotta hold me to this... I HAVE to take and post pics! (however, I wont be around a computer until Saturday)
Brian and I are both working graves right now. He has called lots tonight just to talk and sounds very happy so far. :) He is gonna be one stuffed boy today! His buddys are taking him out for breakfast when they get off work, then I have a cute little lunch for him, then the party! Hmmm.... Gosh I am so excited for today! Those little warm fuzzies a person gets when making others feel good is one of the greatest feelings ever! HOORAY!! cant WAIT!!! :) ~H*A*P*P*Y~ ~B*I*R*T*H*D*A*Y~ ~B*R*I*A*N~ I LOVE YOU!!!:)

Cant Deny that Feeling!

Have you ever just had that deep gut feeling that something is not right. That feeling like if you make a wrong move or say anything at all you might lose all you ever held true to you? Well I have felt that feeling many times in the past couple of weeks! Maybe I am slipping into a depression, maybe something is really wrong? Maybe its too much sleep, or maybe its not enough. Maybe it could be undealt with stress? Whatever it may be, this feeling is absolutely eating me alive. Some say to deal with the feeling head on, the problem is right infront of my face, others say to ignore it and push it aside. Hmmm... wish it was so easy! I cant for the life of me think of why I have this nagging feeling! For now the resolution to my problem is going to be push it aside, I think. Maybe down the road I will figure out why.... hope it aint a bad thing!

4th of July Camping

My funnest birthday memory was when the family lived in Lonetree and we all went camping for the 4th of July and my birthday down in grandpas meadow in the quakies!:) Ever since then I have wanted more than anything to go camping for another birthday. After a bit of persistance I got my way and Brian took me up camping for my 23rd birthday. We invited parents from both sides to come up with us to spend the day. My parents came up on the 4th and we had a grand ol time :) A long lazy day, a little bit of fishin, bow shootin, and yummy cupcakes. :) here are a few pictures for ya'll!

Brian laughing at me:) I smacked my arm with my bowstring when i was shooting. It hurt SO bad!!!

Yes I am crying... it really hurts! those of you who shoot archery and have ever done this can testify to the pain!!:) haha!

Brian caught a rock while fishing! how often does that happen? haha!

On the way home. Brian and Koda were so exhausted. There is a gun in between his legs cuz we were shooting squeakies on the way home :) This is one of my favorite pics!

Concerns for the future!

Three days ago my husband got a letter in the mail from the place he works (OCI) and was reading through and got kind of a confirmation of his fears. OCI is considering a layoff! He had talked to me about this about a month earlier and said that he had heard rumors that they might lay people off. Unfortunatly we are not sure that Brian has enough senority to not be affected by this lay off. Most likely if it happens my hubby loses his job. We are really worried and cautious right now. Talk about clamping down on your money and being thankful that one of us has a darn near "ression proof" job! We are so so so glad that I work full time and have the benefits to make up for some. The layoff has not happened yet and we are praying that it doesnt happen at all. We know lots of people who have been affected by this awful recession.... some family members. For all of you out there that have been affected, please know that our prayers are with you. I was thinking the other day that it is one thing to see the rest of the world going through hard times and trials but when it actually affects you it is a whole different story. I admit that I took for granted what we had... now that it is staring us in the face I definatly think so much different! We are hoping things work out.

Oh and just so everyone knows my little sister has a blog now also! She is on my list, just click on her name. (Ashley and Tom, TA Cook or not TA Cook)
