Well, it has been a while since i have posted anything. Sorry :) Life is still going really good. My goals are coming lowly but surely. We both been very busy at work lately..... But the good thing is that today was the start of brians long change, and the start of my 3 days off. We spent the day getting our old eclipse running and moved over to the valley. It has been sitting in the visitors parking lot at our apt for 2 years now. Our land lord finally got sick of it and said we had a week to get it moved, so we moved it. Now its sitting @ my mom and dads house.
Ha Ha, I always feel so good when we come over to my mom and dads house because thier dog Fritz, is always so so excited to see us. He barks and whines and follows us everywhere, he is so stinking cute. We are all getting excited for Asher's wedding.... It is coming up really fast. I think I am gonna end up in a hot pink brides maid dress! Hopefully it will look ok.?!. My Dads eye is healing slowly but surely, he seems really bored here at home, and like normal is always out doing something. Brian gave him his old Bow, so dad has been out shooting it alot. They are planning on going on another pig hunt sometime soon so we are trying to get dad all practiced up with his bow. I am thinking about going also, so that means that I gotta get out and get shooting alot more too.
Last weekend, Brian and I went to Salt Lake for the Sportsmans Expo, and had a blast! For any of you who know my husband very well, hunting is his life, so naturally he was in heaven. (I was too..... we share very mutual interests. ) As we were walking around in there we found TONS of new possibilities for hunting trips. The one that really caught our interest was a archery black bear hunt up in Canada. We are very seriously considering heading up there soon, and trying to get us some huge black bear. The fun part is that we will be in a hunting camp set up with wall tents and even our very own camp cook, right in the mountains where all the hunting is. The guys we were talking to said that the stands were only about a 1/4 mile hike from the camp. We are gonna be hunitng baited stands, which means we will be up in tree stands and there will be barrels of bear bait on the ground. I sure hope we get to go on that hunt. Brian was also looking at the pig hunts, they are in Utah somewhere. Oh I gotta tell you the funniest part of the show. ... Well obviously there was lots of professional hunters and guides there, right? As we were walking through the show brian spotted a guy there from Eastmans, (I cant remember his name) Brian absolutely loves this guy.... he watches all of his shows and just admires him. Well, usually when a person sees someone famous they are anxious to go get his autograph or pic, Not my husband.!!! He just got a little grin on his face and we walked right by that stand. I could kinda tell something was up so I started asking my little "wifely" questions. He ended up telling me who this guy was and how awesome he was etc, so I told him that we should go talk to him. He wouldnt have anything to do with that, he was being "shy!":) (my Husband shy??) to make a long story short, I tried tricking him into going up and talking to this man several times but he was too smart for me. So at the end of the day we left without even talking to brians favorite hunting hero. We really did have a fun weekend!
