All about my HUBBY!

1- Where did you meet? Well Brian and I met in July of 2004 at Little America. I was working as a waitress in the Restraunt there at the time. Brian and his parents came in for dinner one night and I was SLAMMED with customers. They were one of my tables, and to say the very least I pretty much neglected them. It didnt seem to phase Brian much though. about 2 hours later his sister Cassie who works as a Janitor there came and found me. She told me that her brother had come in earlier and though I was cute. Brian ended up coming in the next day with his friend Ty and then it was pretty much history. :) I knew him a week before I moved down to UT. That didnt last long either... I ended up moving home to be with him!:)

2- How long did you date before you were married?
That kinda tricky.... We met in July of 2004, I moved to UT for 3 months and we just saw eachother on the weekends. We both dated other people during that time. We ended up really liking eachother lots, so i moved home to be closer to him. We eventually got married in april of 2005. 8 months.

3- How long have you been married for? 4 years in April

4- What does he do that surprises you? Ummm.... well.... lots of things honestly! When i first met him I knew that he was a very nice generous person, but the extent of his generosity is always surprising me. He is also very anal about the way his clothes are washed and prefers to do them himself.

5- What's your favorite feature about him?
WOW... can I say ALL of him? haha... well if i had to choose i would choose his eyes! He has mysterious blue eyes... you can see all his emotions in his eyes! I could stare into them for hours!

6- What's your favorite quality about him?
He is a people person... He always makes people feel good about themselves, and it very helpful! Kindness!

7- Does he have a nickname for you? What is it? Baby, Babe, Kristie Dolly (he picked that one up from my mom)

8- What's his favorite color? Royal Blue and Camo for sure!

9- What's his favorite food? He Loves STEAK, Pasta, and any of his Mom's or my Mom's cooking. I HATE cooking, and when I do cook he rarely eats it! :) (that's cuz it is always is burnt or not cooked all the way.)

10- What is his favorite sport? Hunting!!! He hunts EVERYTHING! :)

11- Who said I love you first? Me... it slipped out and I tried to cover it up but it didnt work! :) He said it back though.

12- When and where was your first kiss? not sure on the day but it was 3 days after we met. At Edgewater Park here in Green River.

13-What are your favorite things to do as a couple? Hunting is number 1, Archery, Road Trips.

14-Do you have kids? How many? Not us together, he has a daughter named Cameran and she is 4 years old. We are not sure if we want any.

15- What's a hidden talent that he has? He can cook amazing steaks!! And he has a really good voice! :)

16- How old is he? 24 years old! 2 years older than me.

17- What's his favorite type of music? Umm.... well Gary Allen is his favorite singer and he is country, but he loves that Rock stuff like AC/DC and Hinder, and other stuff like that. So pretty much anything I guess! :)

18- What do you admire most about him? His honesty, kindness, and dedication to everything and everyone!

19- What is his favorite past time? HUNTING!! that kid hunts everything! if he isn't hunting he is at the gym. He started into body building a while ago, and i must say, he looks GREAT!

20- Do you think he is going to read this? HAHAHA.... heavens no!!

DEAR TECH SUPPORT (boyfriend to husband upgrade)

I just loved this email when i got it!! I have posted it everywhere cuz i totally believe it :) hope you all enjoy.... let me know what you think! :)

Dear Tech Support ,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a
distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the
flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under
Boyfriend 5.0 .

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as:
* Romance 9.5 and
* Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as :
* NBA 5.0,
* NFL 3.0 and
* Golf Clubs 4.1
Also Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply
crashes the system.
Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems,
but to no avail.
What can I do?
Signed,
Desperate

DEAR DESPERATE,

First, keep in mind,
* Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while
* Husband 1.0 is an operating system.
Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears
6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed , Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.
However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband
1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please
note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting
and Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law
1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize
control of all your system resources).
In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0
program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.
In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited
memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider
buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We
recommend
* Cooking 3.0 and
* Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck!

What up! ? !

Our life lately has been quite busy. Last week Brian worked day shift all week, while i worked Graves. We didn't see much of each other at all! But thats almost past... today I am working a 12 hours shift and Brian is hanging out in Rock Springs with his buddy.
I dont know what it is with fires lately, but I have dispatched 2 houses on fire in the last week. That is not a common occurance by any means, and even less likely that the same dispatcher gets both of them.
I am leaving for Gillette for 3 days next week for more training. The girl that was supposed to come with me ended up not being able to go, so I am trying to get my little sister to come with me. She is kinda skeptical cuz for 2 days she will have 8 hours of goofing around to do cuz I will be in class. That will suck for her, but i think she will still have lots of fun. :) The class is a Spanish for Dispatchers class... it basically teaches you emergency spanish to use in emergencys for non-english speaking people. Like it or not, we get lots of people who call 911 or our land lines who speak no english and we cant figure out what the heck is going on, or where they are for that matter. Frustrating? YES! So I figured if they wont change then I will take some initiative and try to learn some of their language so i can help them if they have an emergency. Nice huh? Ha, Ha. :)

Tomorrow my dear sweet cousin Wayne is getting married in the Salt Lake Temple. Brian and I are going to go down for that. He is marrying a girl named Jessica Lewis... I believe she is from down there in Utah. It will be a fun day and I am excited for it.

Our anniversary is next month on April 23rd, and I was thinking that I would like to take Brian Skydiving to celebrate. It will be 4 years... haha, I am suprised we have made it that long! :) There is this website that I found through a friend that has skydives for $170 per person plus a $25 deposit. That actually a really good price.... I cant wait to go. Hopefully we will be able to book it on the actual day of our anniversary. Skydiving is something I have always wanted to do... Brian has never really said one way or another, so I guess he doesnt have a choice now. :) Ha Ha, j/k, I am not that cruel... I told him about it, and he wants to do it. :) What a fun way to start our 5th year of marriage, huh? Lets just hope everything goes as planned, and our parachutes come out! :)

Brian is still looking for a camper... he has found quite a few, but he always misses out on them, either someone buys it first or he has to save $1000 more. He called just a little while ago and said he was gonna spend the money on a new gun. Ha, Ha.... i guess its his choice but I prefer a camper! :)

well that a little update for ya! ( not that anyone really reads this )

As promised, a few pics!

This first pic is of the Green Belt. I love to walk or jog this path for exercise. I must just be a Wyoming girl, but to me there is nothing more beautiful than Wyoming even though it is brown and full of sagebrush. :) It is really amazing what walking can do for a person, it helps relieve stress and gives me a chance to just relax and enjoy my beautiful surroundings! I was also surprised at how the music I was listening to really affected my mood and workout, eventually I ended up turning it off and enjoyed the sweet sounds of Geese and Ducks playing in the river! :)

Originally Brian was supposed to come for a walk with me but he didnt make it too far! :) He is Hiding his face from the camera and is watching a TV show :) Silly guys and their movies! :)

This is our mis-match paint job. As mentioned in the last blog our heater broke and we ended up buying a new thermostat.... well the new one is a different shape and size, and when we took the old one off it left a huge white spot on the wall. Our walls are a weird green color... the previous owners were nice enough to leave extra buckets of pre-mixed paint in the garage and the formulas to make each color. Brian went out and got what he thought was the right color and ended up grabbing a different shade of the green!:) Gotta give him points for trying! :) There are acutally 2 different shades of green in our living room and one is a little browner than the other and it is really hard to tell a difference. For all of you who are thinking "Green" I agree, it is really not a very cute color and as soon as we can we are going to paint over it. Gotta figure out a different color though, we dont like white walls :) (Also if you look at the pic of Brian on the couch that is how the walls look. This pic turned out very dark for some reason)

Training/Vacation all in one!

Last weekend was a fun one, I had training in Lovell Wy on Suicide Intervention and Domestic Violence. Brian tagged along with me and we made it a nice small vacation. :) A lot of Brian's family lives up in Big Horn county, so we got to see LOTS of family while up there. Most of them I was meeting for the first time, and I must say I was VERY impressed with them all! Brian has a huge family, his Dad is one of 7 kids and his Mom one of 12. (I hope that's right) Most of the family we saw was on Brian's Dad's side, (and Brian actually met a cousin he had never met before) and we got to see one of his Mom's sisters. :)
The motel room we stayed in in Lovell had a funny smell in it and at night ants would crawl around on the tiled part of the room. EWW!! During the day time I would get up and go to training while Brian went fishing with his uncle Archie. Fishing up that way is wonderful, Brian caught tons of fish and even came home smelling like them. :) At night was when we visited family, and traveled back and forth from tiny town to tiny town. On the way home I was driving and just couldn't keep my eyes open so we ended up staying in a hotel in Lander. It was very nice and gave us both a chance to get some well deserved rest. That next morning we went out to breakfast at a place called Maverik (no not the gas station) and drove around Lander just enjoying the morning and getting to know a new town which is always fun. :)
When we got home we walked into a freezing cold house. I thought for sure that I hadn't turned the heater off before we left, when I checked the thermostat it said it was 57 degrees in our house. We ended up buying a brand new thermostat (which is not cheap) and having a heater guy come over to find out what else was wrong. We went 4 days without any heat in our house... yes we FROZE!! The heater guy finally came yesterday and got it fixed. Oh the joys of owning a house!! Plus our dishwasher broke! ha ha, I could go on all day about the things that are wrong with the house but we just wont go there.
We decided for sure to buy a Camper so we have been surfing the internet and newspaper trying to find the perfect one for us. Brian found a couple on the internet that he has called about, so hopefully when we see them one of them will be something we like.
I wanna apologize for this post, I am sure it makes no sense and is all out of order but it is 1:30 in the morning and I am having a very hard time staying awake. Work is so boring tonight! Still have no new pics to post but maybe someday in the future I will post some.
