The Blind Referee!!

This was a big part of our Christmas Entertainment! Tootsie as some of you know is completely blind, Koda will do anything to play and Fritz is just a little ball of fire when he wants to be!! I am sorry the videos shakes, I was laughing so hard!! ENJOY!!:)

Merry Christmas from the Taylors! :)

Christmas Day was spent at my parents house! What a fun day!! We did the gift exchange and then went up to Grammie and Grandpas house to open presents there. After that we had lunch at our house and gift exchange with Gramma and Grandpa Walker. I just LOVE my family!! Its so so nice to be able to see them! :)

The Walker family, All chit chatting in the living room :) I dont have many pics of the Walker side cuz my battery on my camera went dead. :( I wish I could have gotten more... but these are about all I have! :)

Gramma and Grandpa, and mommy in the kitchen! :)

Here is Grammie! :) Showing the present she got from mom and dad! Also due to most of my blog readers being the Taylor side, I have posted a few more pics of Grammie and Grandpa :)

Grandpa really wanted a globe this year, and he GOT it!:) Such a special guy!

Grandpa and daddy studying the globe... I do remeber the Bearing Straight being mentioned a few times and they were looking for lots of different locations!:)

Grammie, Grandpa, and LuLu!! Aww... so cute! :)

Gram's and I! We tried so many times to get a really good pic of us 2, but to no avail.... at least on my camera... she has a good one on hers, but i dont have it yet :) Haha... its really kind of a funny pic! haha!:)

My HONEY and I! So cute together.... People, I LOVE this boy!!:)

Everyone opening presents!:)

My family minus 1! Oooo, we missed Ashers and Tom this year! Hopefully we get to see them for Christmas next year! :) But Ash is coming on Wednesday so I can see her and her cute little preggo belly then!:) (by the way, she is having a boy!, we are not sure yet on that but that's my guess!:))

The Family and Brian! The Elk horn Josh is holding up is a Cribbage board..... My dad is a HUGE fan of cribbage and hunting so we got him both!!:) haha! :) Makes for a fun game!

Gotta get a goofy one in there.

Later that night we played a very fun game of pass the pigs!! It was so so so so much fun, and we all laughed so hard!! We seriously laughed so hard that my mom almost peed her pants!!:) haha, Dad was laughing so hard he spit stuff across the table and Brian was laughing and ended up burping out loud, which was hilarious!:) ME.... well I couldnt breath, that how hard I was laughing, so it came out in in little gasps for air!:) haha!:)

These piggies are the culprits behind our laughter!:) haha! In the game if you rolled the pigs and they landed a certain way you lost all of your points, and when that happened it is called a "pig out"! Josh had MAGIC fingers!! He would build up TONZ of points... but he couldnt stop rolling! He would literally have close to 100 points all in one play, then roll again and lose them ALL!! haha poor kid! It was such a funny game! :)

Merry Christmas from the Grisham Family!:)

Every year we spend Christmas Eve at Brian's parents house... have I ever mentioned just how much I LOVE my in-laws? They are AMAZING!! (that includes, all brother and sister in laws also!:)) We hung out most of the day and watched movies... followed by an AMAZING dinner! :) (well minus the deviled eggs I managed to ruin!) Then we unwrapped gifts.... followed by fun filled picture taking! :)

This is Brian and Cassie, his youngest sister. They are actually the same age for 3 months out of the year... kinda cool I think!:) These 2 are pretty close!:)

Cassie and I being dorks!! Peace and Love! We couldnt get enough of the camera that night!

Fred, Lisa, Cassie and I. Throwing deuces! Gotta LOVE it!: )

Fred, Lisa, Cassie, and Brian.... such an ADORABLE family!!:)

Brian and I laying on the couch.... look at his ENTRANCING eyes!! Such a handsome boy! A VERY cute couple I may add too!!:)

The family again... havin a little bit of fun!:)

Part of the day was spent sleeping for Brian and Fred! I couldnt resist... just had to snap a couple pics!:)

Cassie got chocolates!! YUMMY!!

Cassie and Lisa, opening presents!! I just love this pic... the smiles are priceless!:)

This is one of the reason's that I just ADORE my father in law! He has such a goofy/funny/awesome personality!! :) not uncommon for fred to strike a pose!:) haha! Love this guy!:)

Fred and Brian had Cassie tackled, sprayin her with the whipped cream!!:) haha.... fun times! Every time Brian and Cassie are together they get into a wrestling match of some kind!:) :)

Of course we cant forget Koda!! Gramma Lisa spoiled her on christmas.... not only did she get mashed potatoes and gravy from both lisa and cassie, she got the Ham bone!!! She was in HEAVEN... this kept her occupied for quite a while! :) She just loves goin to Gramma and Grandpas house!:) haha :)

Last but not least.... Koda verses Sassy! I got bets on Sassy!!

I AM SO GRATEFUL :)

A little over a year ago I was introduced to a very valuable tool that I TRY to use in my every day life. Back then I was very into this and used it alot and had lots of success with it. After a while I stopped practicing it and that knowledge fell to the way side. After a HUGE wake up call and some deep pondering I have once again implemented this into my life! Some of you may be very skeptical, but I am here to tell you this WORKS!! 3 different times I have bought the book and 3 times I have given it away. I am so very thankful for the person who brought this into my life! Along with using the Love Dare to help re-kindle my marriage I have been implementing this "Secret" and Prayer into my daily life! :) I am seeing a difference, though it is not fast. Slowly my life is getting back on track.
It's called, "The Secret".

This book is AMAZING! I still own the movie, and try to watch it once a week for motivation! The Secret is the Law of Attraction. "Like attracts Like", "Our thoughts become our reality". What we are thinking about will end up manifesting itself in our life some way some how. So if we are thinking NEGATIVE thoughts, those negative thoughts will become our reality! The same with POSITIVE thoughts. I found myself many times thinking negative things about my marriage, like.... "Gosh this is never going to work, I just want to be single". Guess what, I was almost single! I have also had it happen with my weight and appearance. When I think badly of myself, and have one of those fat days, where nothing can convince me otherwise.... guess what..... I get fatter! On the flip side.... I have literally gotten a check in the mail, and had absolutely wonderful days by thinking positive thoughts. Not only do I think those thoughts, but I feel like they have already happened to me! I am currently working on some of my larger ambitions in life.
*Being married for Eternity to my wonderful husband
*Having children
*owning my own small business
*overcoming my medical problems
*being 1000% happy being ME!

Alot if not most of my current happiness is the Secret, and Prayer! In the books and movies it doesn't really mention putting those two things together, but when you do I have found that amazing things have happened!

If you click on the title of this blog you can watch the first 20 minutes of the Secret movie :) enjoy

Quotes and sayings are some of my favorite things!! There is something about the way they make me feel! Inspirational, Motivational, and so many more! Quotes and sayings are an amazing part of life! Here are some of my favorites....

at sight even before we have mastered our instruments.*

*If you don't have something positive to say, then don't say anything! Being Positive and Kindness go hand in hand! :)*

*How others treat you is their KARMA, how you react is yours!*

*When you come to the edge of all the light you know, and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing one of two things will happen: There will be something solid to stand on, or you will be taught how to fly. Author unknown*

*"The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience."~ Eleanor Roosevelt*

*The earth turns on its orbit for You. The oceans ebb and flow for You. The birds sing for You. The sun rises and it sets for You. The stars come out for You. The Love Dare!

OK... I deleted the last post on Brian and I being separated. We were seperated for about a week, and I was crushed, to put it lightly, and wrote probably too much! However we have decided to make this work! Divorce is easy to decide to do and always an option to every marriage, but I have done some MAJOR soul searching and PRAYING and I know for a fact that him and I are not meant to be over! We both have so many flaws and are incompatible in lots of ways, but nothing is anything that cant be corrected.

About a year ago Brian and I were in the mall and walked past a religious book store, and were lured in by the salesman there. He was showing us a new movie that had just been released called Fireproof!! He told us this movie was about marriages, and proceeded to ask us about our marriage. We both looked at eachother kinda shocked that this guy was telling us about this. Not only because we had marriage problems then also, but because we kinda felt a little bit invaded by him talking to us about our marriage.... I mean we didn't even know this guy! SO, yesterday Brian was not home, so I went to the house to do some laundry and get ready for work and out of the blue started thinking about this movie. I searched for this movie for a while and eventually found it and stuck it in! Not only is this movie all about marriage, it incorporates god into it. Me, and religion don't get along, but me and god on the other hand is a little different. I am not the best at praying and hadn't for quite a long time. For some reason I decided to start praying.... and just from today's prayer I had a feeling of peace and a wonderful day to top! Anyways, in the movie there is a book that is given to the husband called the "Love Dare". This book is not only in the movie, it is one and its own and is published and for sale in stores. Today I bought that book and intend to follow it to the fullest! It is a 40 day commitment, that will lead to a change not only in me but in my marriage. That's the point right? RIGHT! I started this "Love Dare" today.... and am excited to see the end result!:) I am just remembering to keep a prayer in my heart and patience to see if this works.

Brian has already changed so much!! I also feel so much different, and find it easier to be happy with him. :) Patience, Time, and practice will be the keys to keeping these changes, on both parts! Wish us luck! :)

Thanksgiving Thankfuls! :)

Since Thanksgiving is in about a week I decided to Blog about everything that I am thankful for.

* First and foremost I am thankful for my Husband- though we may not get along all the time, and have been going through some pretty tough times together lately, I am completely thankful for him! Tough times ALWAYS come in marriages... it's the getting through it and past all of the MAJOR differences that makes the marriage all worth it. I am not much for religion of any kind but I do believe in God, and praying has helped us both so much! I know that I truly LOVE this boy! He has a wonderful heart! I am so fortunate to have this amazing man in my life!:)

* What would life be with out the most wonderful parents ever!? I am eternally grateful for my parents! They are always there for me! Their unconditional love, sympathy, support, friendship, listening to me vent, help, and their natural, wonderful, perfect ability to be the best parents EVER! So many times have I looked to my parents as role models and for support, and gotten what I needed! My parents are one in a million and completely irreplaceable! I want them to know how much I love and care for them! I am truly BLESSED to have such wonderful parents! :)

* Siblings! My sister.... now that girl is someone SPECIAL! For those of you who know her you can testify to this. Ashley has always been such a great sister! Over the years we have grown closer. She is currently expecting a baby... and that I am thankful for too! My brother Josh. This boy is great!!:) he is so talented and the funnest boy ever to be around! Joshua has a great personality and has a knack for making a person smile or laugh!:)

*My Father and Mother in law! Fred and Lisa Grisham! I could not have chosen a better family to marry into! These 2 are such amazing people!! Fred is great for a laugh... that man always has something to say that will make you laugh.... if not saying it he is good a practical jokes :) Lisa is such a giving thoughtful person! She always has something made up for Brian and I when we go to visit! Such cute useful things! Giving is wonderful and shows that you have a wonderful heart, and that she has!:)

* All of my extended family...Grandparents, bother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins! Each and every one of them is so unique and have special personalities and talents! Where would a girl be without all of her family??

*My home! Its so nice to have a place to call home. Best thing is it is MY home!! To have worked so hard to be able to have this is a great reward. Anyone can have a house but it takes a place full of love, hard work and happiness to make it a home!

*KODA- of course I am thankful for her! Like I have mentioned in previous posts, I had a dream about koda the night before I got her. She is MEANT to be a part of our family... for what reason I don't know, but there is a reason and one day we will find that out. :) She is ALWAYS happy to see us come home... she loves us unconditionally and always shows that love! EVEN the slobbery kisses she gives! :)

* My jobs! Yes this varies day to day.. some days I would rather not go into work and listen to all of the stuff that comes along with being a dispatcher and on the Ambulance. HOWEVER, I remember that my jobs are a service to everyone! Some days I save lives, others I watch or hear as they are lost. What comes along with these two jobs is lots of the time very negative and kinda depressing. Some of the things you see, you hear, you learn of, and the people that you deal with. I have experienced some true tragedies in my 3 years of being with the police dept and on the ambulance. On the flip side of that, I am here to help save lives, and have.... I am here to be a listening ear to a person who is totally depressed and thinking about taking their life. I am the voice on the other side of the phone that is here to help! I LOVE my line of work, and truly am thankful that I have the ability and opportunity to be a part of it! :)

* Friends! Where would a person be with out friends? Friends are essential in life! People to hang out with, to confide in, to be goofy with, to go shopping, out to lunch, call in the middle of the night, listen to, and to love!:)

Thankful
By A. R. Gronos
I'm thankful for all good with which
I've been blessed throughout life.
For hardships, and for heartaches, too,
For failures, trials and strife.
I'm thankful for each little prayer
Someone has said for me;
For loving thoughts, for friendliness,
For all good will I see.

My thanks for hands, with which I could
Scribe someone on life's way;
For all small deeds of kindness
I'm allowed to do each day.
I'm thankful for all happiness,
Each long hour of deep sorrow;
God thus in his great mercy gives
More wisdom for tomorrow.

Fishin'

Yesterday morning when I got home Brian and Koda were both wide awake and ready to go do something for the day. We decided to head out fishing for a while. Brian and Koda had been out fishing the day before and found a pretty nice honey hole that Brian wanted to try again. Let me clarify I don't like fishing myself so I go along just for fun and Koda and I play around most of the time :) (something about the fish just drives me crazy, could be the slimy scaly thing, not sure. Plus I don't have the patience.)

Brian caught 2 fish at the same time... reeled one in just in time to reel another in, while I had to take the hook out of the first one. Koda just sat there very patiently till Brian got the fish in!

Running up and down the beach... playin! :) spent most of the time hiding sticks and playing with Koda!! She after all is our baby!!:) like a kid:)

Beautiful! Flaming Gorge in the Early morning :)

After we got done fishing we went out to breakfast at Cruel Jacks. Mmmmm so good!:) There is nothing like doing random things at the spur of the moment! Brian and I love that kind of stuff. Now if i could get him to drive a couple hours in the middle of the night. ;)

A Night in Riverton

On the way up to uncle Brad's funeral we decided to stop at Riverton and go to the Casino and hang out. I always kinda knew that slot machines were not my cup of tea, but played anyways. I walked in with $50 and only spent $20. Lost $20 also... that didnt make me very happy and I was kinda kicking myself for wasting the money... BUT life goes on and It was fun anyways! :) We ended up leaving there and heading to the motel to check in. It was Fred, Lisa, Cassie, Amanda and I. When we got to the motel we just hung out for a while. We were all bored and decided to drive out to Shoshoni and see Lisa's brother Chad. So we all piled into the car and drove that way. When we got there Chad's neighbor came out and told us that he had left prior to us getting there. So we turned around and headed back to Riverton. When we got back we decided to go get some dinner. JB's was right there so we stopped there :) That was one of the funnest dinners I have had in a LONG time!:) We laughed so so so much!:) The poor waiter I think was tramatized.... at one point he was trying not to laugh and seriously bolted for the kitchen! Hahaha... that only made us laugh harder!:) This is Lisa laughing... i cant remember what was said but she couldnt stop laughing :) haha! After I took this picture I showed it to Fred... his explanation for the funny blank look was this- "I was constipating on my food!" hahahaha!!! Pretty sure he meant to say concentrating, but he said the other word! It was HILARIOUS!!! We laughed and laughed and laughed. I told him that I was going to post this pic and what he said on my blog... so here it is!!:) haha! Fred and his funny sayings!:) This is Fred, Lisa, Cassie (top right) and Amanda (top left). Somehow during dinner we started talking about ghosts and ghosts haunting people. That is when Lisa piped up and said... "well when I die I am coming back to haunt my kids!" We were all very surprised! HAHAHA.... We again started laughing! One of us, I am not sure who said "thanks for the warning!" Again like I told Fred, I told lisa that I was going to post that on here. :) When I told Brian about this, he laughed so hard! :) This is such a wonderful pic!! I LOVE this!!! They looks SO happy!!:) This fits the mood of the night... laughing and happy!!:) Amanda, Cassie, and I! In the motel room... i insisted that we get tons of pics!!:) Us again!:) Lisa, Fred and I! In-laws are GREAT!:) Us again!:) After dinner we went back to the motel room and decide to make a quick trip to wal-mart to buy some cards:) We came back and played a couple games of War. Again, more laughs and lots of fun! :) This video is of Fred and Lisa playing the card game. I just love this! Oh and the background noise is the T.V. so you might have to turn the volume up to here what is being said in the video :)
